I know, I know I have been the biggest slacker at my blog lately. Now that things have kinda clamed down around my house I can start to post new things. I am going to just start with the most recent and try to get all the things in the past up someday. So it might be a little backwards but oh well at least I can get them done.

Summer Time
Here are a few fun things we have been doing this summer. First we went to Lagoon. It rained off and on, but when it rained it rained hard. We still had fun and the lines weren't long. Maylee loved most of the rides and had a fun time. Next was our 8 year anniversary. We first went and ate at the cheesecake factory and went back to the hotel to swim (which was Maylee's favorite). In the morning we went and ate brunch. It was fun even though Maylee was a stinker pretty much the whole time. Then the 4th of July I didn't want to do much, so we just went out to my mom's house. We ate, the kids swam in the little pool, and we had a great time. Last Sunday was my nephew Cooper's birthday party. We went down to Centerville to his party. They bought a little slide which the kids loved and of course my husband started a water fight. We ate and opened presents and ate the cutest Spongebob cake. So far our summer has been a lot of fun. I usually stay inside alot because pregnant ladies and heat don't mix well. Only 4 weeks left!

Great Day!!!
Today is a good day! First of all I have finally made it to my 30 weeks of pregnancy, which means I only have 10 weeks left. HOORAY! You know some people love to be pregnant, but I am not one of them. Don't get me wrong, I am happy my baby is growing good but my pregnancy is usually not a very good experience. I usually get pretty sick through the whole thing and I can't sleep at nights, but I am very happy for our baby that is coming. Maylee on the other hand is not too excited for her baby sister. She will rub, hug, and kiss my belly but when you mention anything about the baby coming out of mommies belly she says no and has a little tantrum. She also thinks that since mommy has a baby in her belly, so does she, so I have to rub, hug, and kiss her belly too.
The next thing is that it is me and Dave's 8 year anniversary today. I can't believe it has been that long. He is such a great husband and father. I really appreciate what a hard worker he is so that I am able to be a stay at home mom. He is gone alot with work, but when he is home Maylee is attached to his side. She loves him very much. Happy Anniversary honey!

SURPRISE!
Well some of you know, and some of you don't. But we are having a baby. I have known I was pregnant for awhile but haven't gone to the doctor until last Monday because of insurance issues. So I was thinking I was around 4 1/2 months, but nope the doctor told me that I was just over 6 months. I was pretty excited about that. I was far enough along for the doctor to determine we are having another little girl! She is due August 17. So this will be #10 granddaughter on the Hawkes' side with no grandson's (yet). Maylee is going to be a big sister and some days she likes the idea and some days not so much. This was a big surprise for us, but we will take her anyway!

St. George
I know this was about a month ago, but I am just getting around to posting it. It's not like I have been busy or anything, I have just been being lazy. So we go to St. George every year with my mom and dad because my dad has water meetings every year. So I guess the girls and kids in our family consider this our vacation each year because that's the only one that we usually go on. We had a great time going down to see our family and friends that live down there. The kids were most excited to go swimming each day. Our cousin Sheena took us to this place called Jumping Jacks that the kids just loved. It was a huge room filled with blow-up toys for the kids and even some the adults could go on. We also shopped alot and ate alot. It was fun and the kids were worn out by the end of each day, and so was I. We had a great time, the weather was prefect, and I didn't want to come back to this cold weather.
